Starling Physicians multispecialty healthcare

One of Central Connecticut’s leading multispecialty healthcare groups is now celebrating seven years since its founding.

Starling Physicians came to be in Jan. 2016 through a merger between the CT Multispecialty Group (CMG) and the Grove Hill Medical Centers.

“Starling birds in their migrations can work together and in their flocking create these incredibly complex patterns - all bringing to life something more than themselves,” former CEO Dr. Jarrod Post said at the time of the merger.

Since then, Starling Physicians has since grown to encompass over 200 providers of at least 27 different specialties at more than 30 locations.

The group’s four New Britain locations provide care in a variety of specialties, from primary care, cardiology, podiatry, and orthopedic medicine, to ophthalmology, nephrology, ear, nose and throat medicine, diabetes medicine, plastic surgery and physical therapy. Newington is home to several of Starling’s multispecialty centers for children, teens and adults. The company also has multiple locations in Plainville and Southington.

Patients seeking a total “Body Reboot” can enroll in programs by the same name (running for 28 days or 12 weeks) to address their overall health. Participants of these programs have

the opportunity to benefit from custom fitness plans, body composition analyses, meal plans, vitamin injections and more.

Starling’s primary care and pediatric providers are currently accepting

new patients in New Britain, Newington and Plainville, according to its website.

For the second year in a row, Starling Pediatrics in Newington and New Britain were recognized by the National

Committee for Quality Assurance for their Patient-Centered Medical Home Program.
